Chicken soup is the best when you are sick, it is also the best for the cold winter weather! Now let’s see what do we need to make it!

  • Material

    • 24 oz hen or chicken

    • 1 bunch of green onion

    • 1 oz ginger

    • Mushroom (you can put as many as possible)

    • Black pepper

    • Salt

  • Prep: (time expected 5 to 10 minutes)

    • Cut the chicken apart to the size when you think you are comfortable to bite with, don’t cut it too small btw.

    • Boil a big pot of water, and put the chicken in the boiled water, to make sure that the blood in chicken has been washed out through the boiled water.

    • While the water is boiling, and waiting for the chicken to shower in the water. Wash the green onion thoroughly, and cut the green onion into half. Wash the mushroom, ginger and cut into pieces to get ready.

    • Get rid of all the water you used to boil the chicken and wash the chicken with cold water

  • Cooking steps: (time expected)

    • Have the slow cook ready, put the chicken in the slower cooker with the maximum amount of water

    • Put all the other material into the slow cook, put some salt, if you like you can also put some black pepper in there as well to adjust the flavor, I even like to put cilantro in the soup as well, it will taste better if you put some rice wine in it

    • Wait until the water is boiled in the slow cook

  • Serving:

    • You can drink the soup or eat the meat
